Q. Hey guys, why did the fungi (fun guy) leave the party?

Very interesting little mushrooms. 

You can see several of them back there.

Their stems looked and felt like NERF Darts.

A. There wasn't mushroom. (much room)

The first photo

I've changed the layout again because the other one would break when I inserted a photo, and given the nature of this blog that is a bad thing. This one is not as fancy, but is far more functional.

This little guy was just hanging out at the entrance of a trail posing for this shot!

I call this shot "Alvin"

Also, I have some pictures I'd like to upload but I have no way to get them on to this computer at the moment. Excuses, excuses I know. For serious though, soon.

Update for the sake of updating

So, today was beautiful! Unfortunately, I spent most of it cleaning the apartment and making it "suitable for company" and the daylight just escaped me. I'm not making any promises of pictures tomorrow because with family in town who knows what tomorrow really has in store.

The sun!

The sun, the sun! Within the time span of about thirty minutes it went from being cold and rainy outside to hot and humid. For this I am thankful. Sure, I have to put up with the humidity of which I am not a fan of, but in the end all the humidity means is the a the sun is drying up all the rain! Soon the Itsy-bitsy Spider will climb up the spout again... or something. All I know is if it keeps this up I'll be able to take pictures tomorrow!

Also, I'm absolutely loving blogger. I've just come across a hilarious and brilliant blog by Allie Brosh. Her style and humor are fantastic and quite original. I really liked her most recent post (as of 9/1/2010), it's about situations of social entrapment.

Rain Rain Rain.

So much rain! I finally decide to stop being lazy and start my photography blog and the very next day it starts raining and has been persistently wet ever since. I guess I can't really complain, as the rain keeps everything lush and green. However, last I checked cameras don't like the water so much, so this project is on hold while we wait for the heavens to empty.

The Power of Sight

First of all let me welcome you to my soon-to-be photography/artsy blog! I feel since this is my first post an introduction of myself is somewhat in order. However, who I am is irrelevant to this work. That being the case I simply ask you to look at the work of art that will become of this blog and take from it what ever it gives to you. The power of sight is an incredible gift. You can take from every picture a story that is unique and true to your being. This is partly why I feel an introduction of my personality would only serve to influence your view of this work. Art needs no introduction, as it speaks to your soul.
